BIOGRAPHY :
This trio from Switzerland evolves in a quite unusual configuration. Drums, guitar and vocals, that's all ! No bass player ! And it's a real technical performance, more than enough to destroy all in their way.

Cortez plays straightforward post-hardcore, direct, heavy and tortured... Even though the music remains aggressive, it's also emotional and intense.

Cortez started to perform in 2001 and after years of hard work and tons of shows, they have today found their maturity and originality ! Having played with bands like ISIS, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, UNSANE and many more, they have already developed a solid scenic reputation. One sees what one hears... and one hears what one sees !

Thanks to the quality of their music, artwork and performances, they have received excellent reviews, announcing a promising and exciting future for the band ! They are now on a good way to become a reference in their style...
